Position: Lowboy Driver

Primary Work Location:
This position is based in Central West Virginia, with regular work in areas including Elkins, Buckhannon, Saltwell, and surrounding communities.

Travel Requirements:

• Occasional travel to the Charleston, WV area.

• Minimal overnight travel required annually.

• Rare weekend or night shifts.

Qualifications:

• CDL Requirements: Must hold a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements.

• Experience: Proven experience operating lowboy trailers and transporting heavy equipment is required. Experience with paving equipment is highly preferred.

• Driving Record: Must maintain a clean driving record and have a solid understanding of USDOT and FMCSA regulations.

• Physical Requirements: Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including lifting and maneuvering around large equipment.

• Knowledge & Skills: Familiarity with permit routing and relevant transportation provisions. Must be capable of safely operating in various weather and traffic conditions.

• Compliance: Must be able to pass drug, alcohol, and background screenings in accordance with DOT regulations.

Pay is competitive and based on experience.
